Saturday, July 23, 2005Hey There! Meet my kids, Branden is 5 and starts school in like 2 weeks (big time depressing over here) Alicia is 2 and a royal pain in the butt! She has a major Princess Complex. She is also spoiled rotten. My kids are like night and day, Branden was so quiet as a baby. All he did was sleep! When he woke up and was hungry, he would grunt and squeak not cry. When he saw that we were getting his food ready, he would quiet down and follow us with his eyes. Alicia on the other hand, she did not believe in sleep or rest. She woke up every 45 minutes for the first 2 or 3 weeks, and when she woke up, so did everyone in a 5 mile radius! She let EVERYONE know she was ding of starvation. The day she was born she held her bottle, lifted her head, and watched everyone in the room. She is one nosy little girl. My cousin calls her nosy rosy. Alicia didn't sleep through the night until she was almost 1. But that wasn't a big deal for me. Josh worked nights so he got home between 11pm-1am on any given day. That was also the time she would wake up and want to play for about 20 minutes, eat for 10, get changed, held, and put back to bed...By daddy only! All the while Branden slept through everything. LOL Now that he is 5 he doesn't sleep as much. He has a good 8-9 hours at night, no nap, but he sleeps like a rock. He would sleep through a tornado! Alicia wakes up if the AC kicks on.
