Sunday, July 31, 2005What's The Obbsession......with drawing all over yourself? I can kind of remember writing on my hand and my sister did a little bodily artwork as a kid, but Branden has taken to drawing up and down his legs. LOL I had to put every pen in the house out of his reach which in my case it's also out of my reach! But somehow he has managed to find every lost homeless pen in the damn universe! I need to take him into the garage and let him find all the missing sock buddies! There's only so much you can do. So lastnight the kiddies were a little rambunkcious and hungry so I made dinner 30 minutes earlier than we normally aim for. Well, I was not expecting them to finish eating in less than 15 minutes. Branden typically takes forever and a day to eat dinner, don't know why, but he does. Any rate! So we get the bath going for them and start the night time routine (dinner, Ali bath, Branden bath, get dressed, give hugs and kisses, get in your bed) pretty basic. Well, I was on the phone with my mommy and we were laughing at the world when Josh comes into the room with Alicia and says ok give kisses. I happened to look up at the clock and saw that it was 7:30ish maybe earlier. I was all like..."Dude! Look what time it is. She's going to be up before the sun tomorrow!" Josh comes back with something along the lines of but shes so tired she needs to go to bed. Sure enough! The little Angel she thinks she is woke up at 6!!!!!! I pride myself on my sleep people. These two get up between 7:45 and 8:45 on any given day, so seeing as how I hardly slept lastnight of course they are going to be up acting as if they had an 8ball each for a midnight snack. How do they do it? How can kids just get up and act like they are on speed? I mean come one! I don't think I ever woke up like that, sept for when I started dating in high school, then school turned into a huge dramatic social event that required AT LEAST an hour in the morning to get ready and make yourself look presentable, yet at the same time trying to make it look like you really didn't do anything special. Wow, sorry for the rant..... I love my kids to death! They are so damn cute and funny. It's almost like they have an unspoken agreement between themselves. When one of them is driving you to the front door of the nearest looney bin, the other does things that makes you smile and forget about all your stresses and woes. I guess I am raising them pretty good huh... Well, for now I must go. I am having oh so much fun tagging new blog templates and being an individual.
